Selection Criteria
Selection of the grantees in the Prof. Rahamimoff Travel Grants for Young Scientists is made by a special committee, consisting of senior scientists from various disciplines and institutions. Presently, committee members are only from Israel and are replaced every 1 or 2 years. It is expected that when the program, which started in 2008, matures and there will be more American applicants, a similar committee will be convened in the United States. Selection is made based on the following criteria:
- The expected contribution of the travel grant to the research carried out by the applicant.
- Scientific profile of the applicant and his achievement record
